Rich
Dad’s Ark: How to Weather
the Coming Flood By
John Moore Robert
Kiyosaki, author and creator of the best selling “Rich Dad, Poor Dad”
series of books, has come out with yet another thought provoking financial
education book on wealth, “Rich Dad’s Prophesy” with co-author
Sharon Lechter, C.P.A. Robert’s
basic assessment from “Rich Dad, Poor Dad” is that we all fall into
one of four categories of money earners, E, S, B, or I.
E stands for employee, S stand for self employed or small business
owner, B stands for big business owner and I stands for investor. Further,
he asserts that society has trained us to be E’s and S’s, with little
or no financial education to be B’s or I’s. Some
occasionally comment to me that I should do more to provide financial
education to help people move from being E’s and S’s towards B’s and
I’s. It is difficult to try
to be all things to all people; my mission is to increase the wealth of
the planet one person at a time, teaching people how debt consumes your
potential wealth. Robert’s
mission is to provide financial education, so that those of us that choose
to can begin to make the shift to being a B or an I and have the skills to
do so. “Rich
Dad’s Prophesy” explains that as a society, we need to pay attention
to how certain laws change and impact the future financial and economic
well being of the individual and the country. Closely
examining the 1974 law known as ERISA, which was intended “…to
encourage individuals to save for their own retirement…a three pronged
approach to retirement funding: 1. Social Security, 2. A worker’s own
savings, 3. A company pension plan…” While
Social Security and workers own savings are still viable legs of this
three-legged stool, company pension plans have virtually disappeared
leaving us with, as the Washington Post said in May 2002 “...a
three-legged stool with only two legs!” With
ERISA, “people suddenly became responsible for there own
retirement…without the financial education needed.”
Further, ERISA and the aging population may create a series of
severe financial patterns of devastating proportions.
While “Rich Dad’s Prophesy” does not seek to be a “doom and
gloom” cry, it does seek to make us aware of possible things to come. The
movie, “The Perfect Storm” was based on a true story of severe weather
patterns all coming together at once with devastating results.
“Rich Dad’s Prophesy” seeks to give us the financial
education needed to warn and help us weather the coming “Perfect
Financial Storm.” This
“Storm” is the coming together of severe financial patterns causing a
long-term financial flood. “Everyone
has the ability to build a financial ark to survive and flourish in the
future. But you must invest
time in your financial education to build an ark with a solid
foundation.” “Rich
Dad’s Prophesy” is a must read for everyone to better perceive the
financial landscape and to take further control of their financial lives.

Here's What People Are Saying About Conscious
Prosperity: "Your practical approach to debt resolution has made a difference in my life and in the lives of several members of this congregation. If anyone wants to know how to apply spiritual principles to become debt-free, I'll be glad to send them your way." - Rev. Thomas W. Shepherd, Sr. Minister, Sunrise Unity Church, Citrus Heights, California and author of Glimpses of Truth "People
in our congregation are using John Moore's program to literally change
their lives. His workshop attracted a large crowd and prompted calls to
"bring back that 'debt-free guy!"" "Thanks, John! Your workshop was the best of any kind we've attended
in 36 years of marriage. You
gave us a step-by-step way to manage our money, and now we're debt-free
and watching our savings grow."
"We did not have to cut way back to succeed. The only thing that we had to do was stop spending on credit. We have gone from 12 debts to 4, soon to be 3. We are looking forward to NO DEBTS! Amazing program. Simple and doable!" – Holly and Mark G., Dietitian and Registered Nurse, Tallahassee, Florida |
